Dear Zoe,
You had a great month -- Christmas was a blast and you're growing into such a lovely little girl. You had your first boat trip on Christmas day and although you didn't move a single muscle, you assured us that you had a great time. We all had fun with Daddy being home for over a week but the time just went by so quickly.
You're starting to really see yourself as "one who talks". You are a late talker, and it may have something to do with how much I can actually say in a matter of minutes throughout the entire day... you never had a chance to get a word in edgewise. I now tone it down and try to "even" the conversational playing field a bit. We were in an 8 week speech pathology program the past couple of months and it has really helped. You certainly exploded with words over Christmas and New Years. You started out with very few words (maybe 15ish?) and now you're well over 60 and adding new ones every day.
You mimic a lot of the "mommy-ing" that I do. I often put Cole down for a nap in his room and whisper to you "Zoe, out. I'm putting Cole down now". Well, now, you'll grab Tuli, push me out of your room and say in a whisper "Mom, out. Nigh nigh".
Speaking of mommy-ing. Cole just woke up. Must dash my love.
You're a sweetie!!
Love you!
Mommy and Daddy
