The Zoe Chronicles - 2 years old

Dear Zoe,

2 years have passed since you were born and it's been a great ride. You are now a little girl, and a cute one at that. You have such funny expressions, you really do have a great sense of humour. You have funny mannerisms, hilarious actions, and are constantly making us giggle. You make up your own games and think they're a gas. You'll lift up our shirts and tickle us on the back -- you crack up everytime. You'll pretend you're an aligator and "snap" our hands -- you crack up everytime. Somersaults are now a blast and we're just waiting for the day that you launch yourself right off the bed since you don't quite get that you need to be in the middle. You love the train set that Cole got you when he came back from the hospital, and you love your new kitchen. Complete with dishes and utensils... and of course a tea set!

Speaking of Cole, you are a sweet older sister. You are mostly gentle with him, love kissing him on his head and frankly, I think you're wondering why we just don't let you watch him full time. You are always wanting to hold him, carry him, change his nappy, show him toys, and laughing at him. The only downside is that you freak out when we don't let you carry him or change his nappy... you will outstretch your arms to carry him and be all "You can trust me mommy, I can carry him!". Good thing you love your dolls and can swaddle and rock them instead.

You had a blast when Grandma Simpson was in town and I don't think I could count the number of tea parties you two hosted. You were quite fussy when she first arrived, but I think there was just too much going on in your life... new baby in town, those evil molars, mommy AND daddy being at home, and daddy "working" outside... so very many changes. But, luckily you settled and are pleasurable Zoe again.

You are constantly amazing us, like you can see a brand new puzzle and get piece by piece exactly right on the first try. You can take your shoes and socks off, and then put them back on with the straps on the right feet. Your daddy even has a hard time with this so of course this is most impressive.

Happy 2nd birthday Zozo, my baby girl.
(not really a baby anymore)
Love
Mommy and daddy

S'more verse ideas...

When the screams hit there peak
and the nappi starts to reek
that's a weeper...

but...when the feedings go nice
and there's no need for ice
that's a dreamer....
